-I haven't looked at blogs or have posted anything in forever! A lot has been going on since the last time I posted. I went to Texas for Thanksgiving and met up with my sister. We stayed at my grandparents and ate way too much! I honestly gained 10lbs in a matter of 5 days, but lost half before going to the doctor! Thank goodness!
-Ryan and I spent Christmas here this year and had a great time spending the holiday with my grandma and his family. We did miss seeing my family but the next week we had our Christmas with them and had a wonderful time!
-After Christmas my girlfriends from high school and I went on a little over night trip to Helen and had a fun girl's getaway. We crammed 6 girls and luggage into one jeep and lucky for me I talked them into giving me the front seat, since sitting in the back is very uncomfortable when one is 8 months preggo! We had a really nice cabin and ate lunch in town and walked around to the different shops.
-School has started again! Yay, my last semester is finally here! It will probably be the most stressful and hectic one but I will be so happy when I'm finished in about 104 days...I'm not counting or anything :)
Pregnancy update:
I am 38 weeks and becoming more nervous! Of course I am also excited but knowing that I am going to be responsible for another human being is a little scary! I'm not so worried about the labor part (maybe I should be more so) because I know that part will end. I also think going to the birthing class helped me feel more at ease about the whole 'process'.
I have had some crazy pregnancy dreams! I don't want to say what happened in them because it is a bit embarrassing but I do have to say if you mess with me in my dreams you will get hurt! I have been absentminded about everything! I forget where I put my keys, phone, and will forget what I was thinking about like 5 times a day! The baby is still very active, especially after I eat or late at night...does that mean she'll be a night owl?
I get asked this all the time "have you picked out a name yet?" and the answer is no. Sorry I haven't even been thinking of names recently. Ryan and I have a list that we are going to take to the hospital and we'll decide when we see her. I just can't name her until I see her. I wish I could like everyone else, but if I had trouble thinking of what I was going to name our dog then I am defiantly going to have trouble naming our baby.
Anyway, over the break Ryan put trim up in the nursery and painted it for me. He did a great job and I am glad he is so handy, because it probably would have cost us a pretty penny for a professional! The nursery isn't finished but it is a work in progress! I also have a friend who is going to help me paint some canvases to hang in the room.
**I'll post some pictures soon of all the things I mentioned above soon, because isn't that the best part of blogs? Looking at the pictures?!**

Team Jacward...
I was one of the many crazies who went to new moon at midnight...and it was a lot better than twilight. They def had more money to spend but there was still some cheese-oh well. I still am torn between Edward and Jacob. Jacob is so hot in this movie-except the voice-and why was he the only buff werewolf? I still don't really care for Bella--anyway...I had a fun time going out with some friends and I love going to the midnight showings because everyone there is also so excited to see the movie!

Hiking and a look at 7 months
Last weekend Ryan and I decided to take advantage of this nice weather and go for a hike with Nala. She loved it and of course she found water to play in...
You can't really see Nala, she blends in but she was loving this waterfall!
Beautiful view of all the changing trees...
One last thing...
7 months and counting... this is for you hannah

It's a.....
When we first found out we were going to have a baby we thought it was a girl...I don't know why because growing up I thought I always wanted a boy first, but once we left the doctor's we thought for sure it was a boy. So on Friday night we decided one would pull for a girl and the other a boy...you can tell by the color of our tops. Anyway, Ryan gave me the knife and I cut into the corner of the cake and much to our surprise it was PINK! I was shocked, I really that it was going to be a boy! We are very excited and very nervous!
I am also very proud of myself for not looking at the ultrasound- I am known for ruining surprises! I thought it was extra special to find out with our family and friends!

12 weeks
Well everyone pretty much knows that I'm pregnant-even though I haven't told many people. I guess word gets around fast. This pregnancy was definitely a surprise! I thought I had it all planned out, first graduate next May, get pregnant on my graduation trip, and work for the next nine months until I had the baby. But I guess I can't plan everything to happen my way! I am still hoping to graduate in May, I'll just have to put off working for a while. My due date is Feb. 11, 2010, right in the middle of the term, but I keep thinking if my mom did it why can't I?
Whenever I took the first test and saw that it was positive I cried and told Ryan I didn't think I was ready and he just said, "maybe this is the best way because I don't think you were ever going to be ready." Which is probably true, I would have made up some excuse why we should wait just a little longer.
I also kinda wish I would have waited to tell my family until my first trimester was over because the day after I told them I started feeling the ALL DAY "morning sickness," I also have been sleeping in 'til 10Am almost every morning- I haven't made it to Relief Society in over a month, I feel inactive and I have to watch out for every smell or I'll toss my cookies! I have been feeling better though these past few days and I even woke up at 730 this morning so maybe this sickness will move on out and I'll start to feel much better! (Knock on wood!)
