I was one of the many crazies who went to new moon at midnight...and it was a lot better than twilight. They def had more money to spend but there was still some cheese-oh well. I still am torn between Edward and Jacob. Jacob is so hot in this movie-except the voice-and why was he the only buff werewolf? I still don't really care for Bella--anyway...I had a fun time going out with some friends and I love going to the midnight showings because everyone there is also so excited to see the movie!
* Now I am ready for eclipse-which was my favorite book out of all four!

Hiking and a look at 7 months
Last weekend Ryan and I decided to take advantage of this nice weather and go for a hike with Nala. She loved it and of course she found water to play in...
You can't really see Nala, she blends in but she was loving this waterfall!
Beautiful view of all the changing trees...
One last thing...
7 months and counting... this is for you hannah

It's a.....
When we first found out we were going to have a baby we thought it was a girl...I don't know why because growing up I thought I always wanted a boy first, but once we left the doctor's we thought for sure it was a boy. So on Friday night we decided one would pull for a girl and the other a boy...you can tell by the color of our tops. Anyway, Ryan gave me the knife and I cut into the corner of the cake and much to our surprise it was PINK! I was shocked, I really that it was going to be a boy! We are very excited and very nervous!
I am also very proud of myself for not looking at the ultrasound- I am known for ruining surprises! I thought it was extra special to find out with our family and friends!

12 weeks
Well everyone pretty much knows that I'm pregnant-even though I haven't told many people. I guess word gets around fast. This pregnancy was definitely a surprise! I thought I had it all planned out, first graduate next May, get pregnant on my graduation trip, and work for the next nine months until I had the baby. But I guess I can't plan everything to happen my way! I am still hoping to graduate in May, I'll just have to put off working for a while. My due date is Feb. 11, 2010, right in the middle of the term, but I keep thinking if my mom did it why can't I?
Whenever I took the first test and saw that it was positive I cried and told Ryan I didn't think I was ready and he just said, "maybe this is the best way because I don't think you were ever going to be ready." Which is probably true, I would have made up some excuse why we should wait just a little longer.
I also kinda wish I would have waited to tell my family until my first trimester was over because the day after I told them I started feeling the ALL DAY "morning sickness," I also have been sleeping in 'til 10Am almost every morning- I haven't made it to Relief Society in over a month, I feel inactive and I have to watch out for every smell or I'll toss my cookies! I have been feeling better though these past few days and I even woke up at 730 this morning so maybe this sickness will move on out and I'll start to feel much better! (Knock on wood!)

French Rivera
The first port of call after we sailed from Barcelona was Cannes, France. I am so glad we got upgraded and had balcony in our room! When booking the cruise back in August Ryan selected the cheapest room we could get-an interior with no view! Whenever we checked in we were told we were upgraded to a better room! Sweet! Because if we hadn't gotten that room we would have missed out on the beautiful views! Waking up in Cannes was gorgeous! The city was getting ready for the film festival that was going to be held there the next week and it was such a nice day! We just walked around the little alley ways looking in the shops and cafes. When we were heading back to the ship we stopped off at the beach and put our feet in the water to say that we've been in the Mediterranean Sea. We also had out fair share of topless old women! We decided to lay out on the ship and I was just thinking to myself looking onto the water and the mountains, Oh my gosh how lucky am I to be laying out in the French Rivera right now when I could be back at Dalton taking my finals! :) Then when the ship sailed from there to Livorno, Italy the mountains in the background were so beautiful!...I wish I were still there...

Its been a while...
I don't think I've posted anything since I started summer school. But I'll try to post some more pictures from our trip. It was a great trip and I hope Ryan and I can go back soon!

Espana
On day three of our trip we flew to Barcelona, Spain. It was such a beautiful city! It was really clean and nice. The night before we flew in, Barcelona had just bet Madrid in soccer so I think thats the reason for the big celebration, because we got to go to a carnival that was close to the hotel where we were staying. It was crazy but a lot of fun. The next day we didn't have to get on the ship until 4 so we went around the city and saw some of the big sites of the city. We got to see the Sagrada Familia, the "dragon house", walk through the gothic quarter and see the Columbus monument next to the port. Ryan and I really liked Barcelona and I think if you're going to go to Europe you should def try to stop there it was such a neat city! Here are some pictures from Barcelona.

Everyone loves Twilight

I see London, I see Bath!
Bonjour! Ryan and I just got back from Europe last night and we had such a great time! I'm already trying to talk him into going back! We flew out two Thursdays ago into London and stayed at the Hilton across from Trafalgar Square which was awesome! We got a sweet room thanks to Ryan's numerous points-this is the part I like from him traveling. Anyway we spent the day walking around London seeing all the touristy sites and we got to ride the Eye which had wonderful views of the city. The next day we went to Stonehenge and Bath, I loved Bath by the way, super cute city and the rolling hills on the way there and back were beautiful! Here are some pics from the first few days of our trip...

Run 'B' Run!
Well I finished my second half marathon this past weekend! I was surprised at how well I felt-not did- considering I didn't train like I should have. Last year I ran at least 4 times a week and cross trained twice a week, but this year was maybe half of that, but I signed up a long time ago and felt like I needed to do it anyway. I also ran alone-well not technically, around 30,000 people run it, plus all the spectators (its like a huge party), but I didn't have anyone to talk to along the way, some of my friends who signed up or were planning on running bailed out last minute, so thank goodness my parents were there or it would have stunk-but we ended up running on our own. Also, the weather was super nice but too hot for running either 13.1 or 26.2 miles, I saw several people passed out on the sidewalk (they were receiving medical help-just to let you know I'm not a jerk and left them there to die)! So, I am blaming all the conditions on my bad time but, I never claimed to be fast! Oh well at least I finished, right?!
The reason for the title was this guy had a sign around mile 2 that said "Run B**** Run"-some would take offense but I loved it! It made me laugh and I said it to myself the rest of the way-it was motivating, crazy, huh? Oh well, I think I might actually do it again...maybe even try for the FULL marathon, maybe.

I totally Lizzed!
I am a big fan of 30 Rock-you should seriously watch it Thursday nights at 930! I have been watching it since the election because of how funny Tina Fey was! Last night was one of the funniest episodes. Go to NBC and watch it if you didn't see it last night-the ending it brilliant-so funny! I about lizzed in my own pants!

My Mom Kicks...Academics
Well Many of you know that me dear mother just got Teacher of The Year for Catoosa County and I think it was the first time for a Graysville Elem. School teacher to get it! She is so great! My mom is such a great example to me! She has always been a hard worker! She went to college while having two kids (me and Kailey), graduated with honors and got her Masters while having her third baby (Barrett)! She also went bvack to school a few years ago and got her Specialist Degree. She stayed at home with us until we were all in school, she took us on awesome trips during the summer with our grandma Georgia and cousins! We had a great time traveling nearly all over the country together visiting all the historical sites of America's beginning as well as the Church's. I think that is why Kailey and I love history so much. She has worked hard to be a wonderful teacher and I am so proud that she is my momma! So if you are driving down Battlefield Parkway (aka 2A) going towards Ringgold make sure you get a good look at her billboard! We think its so funny that she has a billboard up-I don't think she likes all the attention!

*The day after the sign went up a local business owner saw it and he e-mailed my mom and told her she was stunning! He also said if she were single to call him and then he sent her 3 picuters of himself-one without his shirt! HA! I guess I have a HOT MOM! But that is a little creepy!

New Family Member!
Ryan and I got a new family member this past Sunday! She is a little black lab-mix pup. I had a friend that found her and her sisters in their woods after the big storms and didn't want to take them to the pound. So, needless to say I told her we would take one. After seeing Marley and Me I didn't want a dog for a while but I gave in and now we have a cute little puppy that hopefully won't turn out like Marley-knock wood! I do need help picking a name so give your opinions on the ones I've listed or give new names that you think would fit her...
Names: Sophie, LeLa, Lola, Lilo, Sadie, Lucy...
I'll put better pics on later

New Year's Resolutions
I have made a big list this year and I hope I can accomplish most of them...
1. Like always lose about 10 lbs.
2. Better Scriputre Study
3. Go on a Budget-I have been spending too much money lately
4. Cook more
5. Less TV-I got into a bad habit
6. Run the Country Music 1/2 marathon again, with a better time.
7. Learn a new language-attempt atleast
8. Do well in School!!
9. FHE-We just haven't been on top of it...
Like I said I hope I can accomplish most of these and they are in no order, I just need to start working on all of them...Good luck to you if you have any resolutions made!

**Update: It is the third full week of January and I heard this is the week that most people quit their resolutions...So have I quit or did I do any of them? I am happy to say I have stuck to all but two, cooking and tv-I do plan to get better but at night when I'm alone I can't help but watch TV and I don't want to cook for myself! But hopefully once Ryan doesn't travel so much we can cut out a lot of TV and cook more-we are trying to finish the bonus room so we can put all of our workout stuff up there so we can work on getting some sexy bodies-esp. by MAY!;)**
